st. john's will provide a welcoming, informal meeting point for all park visitors with an emphasis on quality, affordable, healthy snacks & refreshments.
operating as a nonprofit community enterprise, any surplus will be reinvested into the park and community projects.
initially operating as a pop-up cafe, we will establish a successful community venue while building a better understanding of what park users and volunteers need from the site's future facilities.
the st. john’s team will work with the council and local park volunteers to explore and support potential improvements to the park, including the future of the derelict toilet block and the possibility of a permanent community facility.
